Resin bound stone is mixed on site and trowelled over a solid base, giving you a smooth surface with no loose gravel to kick out onto the pavement. Rainwater drains straight through it instead of running off, so the puddle at the bottom of your drive stops being an annual problem. Because the surface is permeable, it satisfies SuDS requirements and planning permission is rarely needed.

The other reason people here go for resin is the choice. There are dozens of aggregate blends, from warm golds through to cool greys, and I will bring samples to your door so you can hold them against your brickwork before you decide. Laid properly on the right base, a resin drive holds its colour and stays flat for well over a decade with nothing more than the occasional wash down.
